The largest traveling Maya exhibition ever to tour the U.S. is at The Perot Museum. The exhibit brings together more than 200 authentic artifacts and environments to explore the accomplishments of one of the most powerful indigenous Mesoamerican civilizations. You and your grandkids will learn how the Maya built towering temples and created an intricate calendar system. Through hands-on activity stations, video and simulations, guests can decipher hieroglyphs, explore mysterious tombs, an underworld cave, mural room and more.

Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s beloved story The Little Mermaid follows Arabella, who believes life would be better on two legs, and her crustaceous friends, as she goes on a journey of self-discovery where she encounters a mean sea witch and a handsome prince. Each performance features original songs and loads of audience participation.

Storyland immerses children and adults in favorite picture books, from the gardens of The Tale of Peter Rabbit, the tropical island of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, to friendship in If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. Designed for children from birth through eight years old, Storyland engages all who visit in storylines and literacy that lead them to discover that it’s never too early to cultivate a love of reading.
