Goodrich Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Hearing Loss Association of America, Fort Worth Chapter meets once a month at the Goodrich Cente for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Retired deaf persons can become isolated. No longer working, they need social interaction with other deaf people and people who know how to communicate with them and help them maintain their vitality. The Deaf Senior Citizens Program at the Goodrich Center offers a variety of activities, programs, and services such as health, nutrition, education, enrichment, personal growth, and recreation. The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM—2:00 PM.

Senior Citizen Services of Greater Tarrant County provides hot lunches for the program. The Deaf Senior Citizens Group, age 60 and over, communicates primarily by sign language.
